Community involvement key for Award-winning childcare
Narrabeen Children’s Centre has won the Large Community Metropolitan Service Excellence Award at this year’s Excellence in Early Childhood Education Award.
Narrabeen Children’s Centre has won the Large Community Metropolitan Service Excellence Award at this year’s Excellence in Early Childhood Education Award.
The annual award recognises the great work educators do and the role they play in the lives of children, their families and the broader community.
Narrabeen Children’s Centre was highlighted for their involvement with families and the community.
Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins praised Council’s children’s services, which include nine early learning centres.
“We are incredibly proud of the outstanding dedication, hard work and enthusiasm shown by our local children’s service,” said Mayor Heins.
Narrabeen Children’s Centre offers care for 56 children, aged 6 months to 6 years.
The awards night, facilitated by the Australian Childcare Alliance NSW, was held at the Hyatt Regency, Sydney on Saturday 2 November 2024.
